Vintage Japanese Lacquered Jewelry Box
This Vintage Japanese Lacquered Jewelry Box from the 1950s is a rare find. This intricately designed box features a mechanical shadow box, dancing geisha girl, 2 drawers with mirrors below, key on bottom to make the girl dance which works very well just dont let a child turn the key to tight while listening to the music. Has 3 hinged lids on the top, and handpainted 3 sides; this box has a key to lock the box. This piece has been professionally refurnished and is in great condition for its age. Note that the batteries are not keeping contact for the lights, yet the girl does still dance and the music plays. This one-of-a-kind treasure will be the perfect accompaniment to any home.
Size: 13.5" L x 5.5" D x 7" H
Please review all photos before ordering, this has been professionally reburished and but again the batteries do not make contact, but the girl still dances. These are rare and we only have one.
