Vintage Ivory Alabaster Collectors Plate #BC3646-"Christ Among the Doctors" -sculptured by Alberto Santangela; the Ghiberti Doors Collection.

Plate #214 is strictly limited first edition "Christ Among the Doctors"; plates faithfully copied by hand alone from the Florence Baptistery North Doors, originally completed in 1424 A.D. by Lorenzo Ghiberti. Hand-cast and finished in ivory alabaster in Tuscany, Italy, and under the hallmark of Studio Dante diVolteradici and the auspices of the Museo del Duomo of Florence, Italy. Bradex No. 38-V90-3.4.

Sold with certificate of authenticity, Declaration, and orginial box. Back of Plate - Platto No. 214 and has full description of information about each process of this plate.

No cracks, chips and in very good condition for the age; Plate size : 8.5" Dia.; we have 1 only.
